How to book

Click the booking link above.

You're already in my system from your doctor's referral, so choose "Book an Appointment" — not "Register as a New Patient."

On the first screen, your details must match your referral exactly:

Alberta health number — 9 digits, no spaces or dashes
Date of birth
Email — the address I sent your booking invitation to. If I sent your link by text message instead, just enter your own email address; that's where your confirmation and video link will go.

Select Dr. Sunny Kang, then New Consult, and choose a time. The calendar may open a week or so out — earlier openings may be available, so click back through the earlier dates to see them.

Once you confirm, your appointment confirmation and video link arrive by email right away.

If the Next button doesn't seem to do anything, it means one of those details doesn't match — reply to your booking invitation, or text me back, and I'll book you in.

What to expect after you book

You'll also get reminder emails 48 hours and 24 hours before your appointment. These are reminders only — your video link is in the original confirmation email, so keep that one somewhere you can find it.
This is a virtual (telehealth) visit that runs in your web browser — there's no app to download.
At your appointment time, open the "Join Video Call" button in your confirmation email, and allow camera and microphone access when prompted.
Join from a computer or phone. On iPhone or iPad, use Safari; on Android, use Chrome.
If you don't see the emails, please check your spam or junk folder, and add my email address to your contacts so future messages come through.
Can't find your confirmation email? Email me before your appointment and I'll resend your link.
